Quick take
Protective wraps that prevent hooks from snagging clothing and other gear while transporting and storing lures.
This set of six soft lure wraps is cut from Oxford cloth polyester and closes with a buckle. Each wrap is about 5.9 inches across, sized to cover a hooked lure so the points stay clear of rod guides, clothing and skin. They suit anglers who carry crankbaits or jigs in a tackle bag and want the hooks contained between trips.
Best for
- Organizing multiple lures in tackle bags
- Protecting hands and gear from sharp hooks
- Keeping lures from tangling together
Skip if
- You need waterproof storage
- You use soft lures that need case protection
Strengths
- Buckle closure keeps wraps secure and organized
- Soft material protects both the lures and surrounding gear
- Compact 5.9 in diameter fits most tackle bags
Trade-offs
- Not waterproof for extended water exposure
- The wraps themselves may wear out with heavy use
- Limited to smaller lures and hooks
