Quick take
Soft plastic swimbaits with 3D eyes and T-tails for casting or jigging after predatory fish.
This five-pack of grey soft swimbaits has an internal lead weight that lets each body sink slowly through the water column. The T-tail and 3D eyes give a side-to-side swimming action on a cast and slow retrieve. Anglers targeting bass and trout can fish them in fresh or salt water, with a single top hook and an optional hook hanger.
Best for
- Bass in lakes and rivers
- Trout in clear water
- Saltwater redfish and stripers
Skip if
- You fish among dense weeds
- You need lures heavier than one ounce
Strengths
- Realistic 3D eyes attract attention in dark water
- T-tail creates natural swimming motion on all retrieves
- Works in both fresh and saltwater
Trade-offs

- Light weight makes casting into wind difficult
- Head often separates from tail after catches

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
