Quick take
Assorted high carbon steel treble hooks ranging from 3/0 to size 14, sharpened and barbed.
This is a 50-piece box of black treble hooks made from high carbon steel, with a closed eye, barbed points and a curved point style. It is the kind of bulk pack that suits anglers who keep swapping trebles on crankbaits, spoons and other hard lures for bass and trout. The small box keeps a full set of replacement hooks easy to carry in a tackle bag.
Best for
- Rigging hard lures like crankbaits and topwater
- Bass and trout fishing in fresh and salt water
- Replacing hooks on damaged lures
Skip if
- You fish primarily with soft plastics
- You prefer single hooks to reduce snag risk
Strengths
- High carbon steel is 30 percent sharper than standard
- Curved point with barbs prevents fish escape
- Wide size range covers most lure types
Trade-offs
- Treble hooks snag easily in vegetation
- Curved barbs make them harder to remove if deep hooked
