Quick take

An 8 strand braided line with dark green color that blends in freshwater and low-stretch properties for responsive bite detection.

Best for

  • Bass and catfish in weeds or structure
  • Freshwater fishing where stealth matters
  • Anglers switching from monofilament

Skip if

  • You fish open water where line visibility is not a concern
  • Your reel has limited line capacity

Strengths

  • Eight strands provide more strength than 4 strand braids
  • Blackish green color designed to blend in freshwater
  • Mirror-smooth surface reduces friction and water resistance

Trade-offs

  • Braided line is visible in clear saltwater; fluorocarbon leader helps
  • Can be harder on rod guides if the reel is old
