Quick take

A 10-mode rechargeable chest light with white and red LEDs for hands-free night fishing visibility.

The Hapyson YF-200B-K is a battery-powered chest light for night fishing, worn on the body so both hands stay free for rod and line. Its battery layout is arranged to sit steady instead of shifting as you move. It offers 10 lighting modes, with white and red LEDs and a boost mode of about 600 lm, and it weighs around 7.1 oz with batteries.

Best for

  • Night and low-light fishing requiring hands-free illumination
  • Anglers fishing at dusk, dawn, or under artificial light
  • Portable overnight trips where stability and battery life matter

Skip if

  • You prefer headlamp-style lighting
  • You fish only in daylight

Strengths

  • Rechargeable with stable, non-shifting battery layout
  • 10 different lighting modes for varied conditions
  • Combination of white and red LEDs reduce night blindness

Trade-offs

  • Chest-mounted design limits beam direction adjustability
  • 10 different modes may be overwhelming for simple use
  • 7.1 oz with batteries is noticeable while fishing all day
