Quick take
Finesse neko jig hooks with chemically sharpened points and wire weed guards, designed for neko rigs with soft plastic finesse baits.
Harmony Fishing's Razor Series Weedless Neko Hooks come in a size 1/0 pack of ten, made of high carbon steel with a black nickel finish and a knife edge point. A wire weed guard is built in, so the hook can be fished around grass, rocks, wood and docks with fewer snags. They are made for Senko-style worms and other baits commonly fished on a Neko rig, such as Yum Dingers and Z-Man ZinkerZ, for bass anglers.
Best for
- Neko rig fishing for bass in cover
- Finesse presentations around docks, rocks and grass
- Anglers who want better hookups on soft finesse baits
Skip if
- You fish open water without cover
- You prefer thicker weed guards for heavy wood
Strengths
- Forged shank is strong for bass-sized fish
- Chemically sharpened point penetrates soft plastic easily
- Fine wire guard prevents snagging in cover
Trade-offs
- Fine wire guard may straighten on large or hard-mouthed fish
- Neko rig technique takes practice to execute
- Ten hooks means you tie many rigs before resupplying
