Quick take
Tungsten weedless jigs sized for soft plastics, smaller than lead heads of the same weight for less snagging.
Best for
- Dense cover like weeds and timber
- Ned rigs and creature baits on the bottom
- Swim jigs with paddletail trailers
Skip if
- You prefer traditional round heads on open flats
- You fish light cover where a lead head is adequate
Strengths
- Tungsten is twice as dense as lead, so smaller profile means fewer hangups
- Weedless design reduces snagging in grass and wood
- Included bait pegs keep plastics from sliding on the hook
Trade-offs
- Smaller weedless body limits the eye size for thick trailers
- Bait pegs may wear out with repeated rigging changes
