Quick take
Spinner blade trailers that add flash and action to soft plastics on tough bites.
This is a seven-piece set of silver willow-blade tail spinners that clip onto soft plastics such as senkos, worms and swimbaits. Each blade comes pre-attached to a ball bearing swivel, and a screw-lock hitchhiker lets you thread it straight into the bait. The trailer hook tubing also slides onto jigs or swimbait hooks, so one pack suits bass and panfish anglers who like to add flash to their soft plastics.
Best for
- Adding attraction to senkos and worms
- Discolored water where flash helps
- Soft plastic jigs and swimbaits
Skip if
- Crystal-clear water where flash may spook
- Heavy weeds that foul spinners
Strengths
- Ball bearing swivel spins freely even at low retrieves
- Two rigging methods work with most soft plastics
- Seven preassembled spinners reduce tying time
Trade-offs
- Adds weight and bulk to finesse presentations
- Spinner arms may bend in dense cover
- Requires patience to thread onto small baits
