Quick take
An adjustable-action vibrating lure with line-tie holes to customize action for different fishing situations.
This 2 3/8 inch, half-ounce Heddon Sonar comes in chrome and runs as a vibrating blade bait with three line-tie holes for different depths and actions. The front hole gives shallow running and more vibration, while the rear hole gives deeper running with a slower wobble. The center hole is for jigging, so the same lure works cast, trolled or fished through the ice.

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
