Quick take
Heavy-duty rod holder with 360-degree adjustment and alarm bells for bank and boat fishing.
This is a gold ground-plug rod holder set with three pieces, made for bank fishing where you want your rod propped up while you wait. The head turns 360 degrees horizontally and tilts through 130 degrees vertically, and the plug detaches from the turret so the set packs down easily. Clip-on alarm bells signal when a fish pulls the line.
Best for
- Anglers fishing multiple rods from shore or boat
- Catfish and carp fishing requiring extended soaks
- Situations where hands-free rod positioning is needed
Skip if
- You fish while actively holding the rod
- You need a compact portable holder
Strengths
- 360-degree horizontal and 130-degree vertical rotation allows positioning for any angle
- Soft rubber protective sleeve prevents rod finish damage
- Alarm bells alert you to strikes when not actively watching
Trade-offs
- Heavy metal construction limits portability
- Adjustment mechanisms can loosen over time with use
- Alarm bells drain battery and may not be audible in wind
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
