Style: Rod Holder

Quick take

A universal rod holder with 360-degree rotation and locking ring, mounts to kayak or boat track systems without drilling.

This is a black ABS rod holder that rides on a boat or kayak gear track with a rail mount. It slides in on T-bolts, so no drilling is needed, and it can be repositioned or taken off again. The cradle rotates through 360 degrees and tilts up and down, and a front locking ring keeps the rod in place while you move. A handy add-on for anglers who want hands-free rod storage on a tracked boat or kayak.

Best for

  • Hands-free fishing on boats and kayaks
  • Positioning rods at any angle for waiting or trolling
  • Anglers running multiple lines or hands-free setups

Skip if

  • Your boat has no track system
  • You need fixed rod storage solutions

Strengths

  • 360-degree adjustment and up-down movement enable any position
  • Locking ring prevents rod loss when traveling
  • No-drill track mount preserves hull integrity

Trade-offs

  • Requires existing T-bolt track system on boat or kayak
  • Heavy-duty ABS may not match marine aesthetics
  • Cradle is loose fit, so smaller rods may shift
