Quick take

Insulated neoprene bootfoot waders with sealed seams and cleated soles for cold water wading.

Best for

  • Late fall and winter fishing
  • Cold stream and river wading
  • Waterfowl hunting in cold water

Skip if

  • You fish warm water only
  • You prefer lightweight hip waders

Strengths

  • 4.5mm neoprene traps body heat for cold water protection
  • 600G insulation adds warmth without excessive bulk
  • Cleated soles grip slippery rocks and muddy banks

Trade-offs

  • Heavy neoprene waders tire legs on long wading days
  • 600G insulation overkill for mild fall fishing
  • Bootfoot design makes them difficult to walk in on shore
