Quick take

Pocket-sized tackle boxes with 12 compartments each, designed for fly, ultralight, and wading fishing.

This is a set of four palm-sized plastic organizer boxes in black, each about 8 by 4.5 by 1 inches, small enough for a vest pocket or a kayak bag. Each box has 12 lidded compartments, plus two long sections that removable dividers can split into smaller spaces. It suits swivels, split shot, beads, small spinners, grubs, hooks and flies for trout, ultralight and wade fishing.

Best for

Fly fishing with flies and small tying materials
Ultralight spinning with small lures and split shot
Stream wading where weight and packability matter

Skip if

You need to store large crankbaits or topwater lures
You want a single large box over multiple small ones

Strengths

Palm-sized boxes fit easily in fishing vest pockets
12 compartments per box allow organized storage of diverse items
Removable lids and dividers make compartments easy to clean

Trade-offs

Plastic construction less durable than hard-shell boxes
Small compartments limit storage to tiny lures, beads, and hooks
Four separate boxes can be easier to lose than one large case
