Quick take
A 150-piece assortment of circle hooks in eight sizes, high carbon steel, for freshwater and saltwater.
This 150-piece circle hook assortment covers eight sizes, from #1 up to 8/0, in a reusable hard plastic box. The hooks are high carbon steel with a rolled-in point, a shape that tends to set in the corner of a fish's mouth. The spread of sizes suits panfish and trout at the small end and catfish and salmon at the large end, for fresh or salt water.
Best for
- Live-bait fishing where hook-ups matter more than hook sets
- Catfish and saltwater bottom fishing
- Anglers who prefer circle-hook design for reduced gut hooking
Skip if
- You fish artificial lures only
- You need a specific single size rather than variety
Strengths
- Circle hook design tends to hook in the corner of the mouth
- High carbon steel is strong and takes a sharp edge
- Eight sizes cover most fishing applications
- 150-pack means you have backups for a long time
Trade-offs
