Quick take
A collapsible metal rod holder designed to hold and secure fishing rods during ice fishing sessions.
This HT coiled ice combo holder is a collapsible metal stand that sets a rod and reel down on the ice or snow instead of leaving it in the slush by the hole. It takes any ice rod and reel combination and folds flat when it is time to move. It suits ice anglers who hop between holes and want a compact way to park a rod while they work a line.
Best for
- Ice fishing where multiple rods are needed
- Tip-up systems and fixed rod setups on ice
- Anglers who want compact gear storage
Skip if
- You fish open water; this is ice-specific equipment
- You need adjustable height; collapse is for storage, not height adjustment
Strengths
- Collapsible design saves space in tackle bags and on sleds
- Coiled construction withstands cold and harsh ice conditions
- Holds both rod and reel as a combo for efficient space use
Trade-offs
- Collapse mechanism may become stiff in extreme cold
- No adjustable angles; rod position is fixed once installed
- No product detail on weight capacity or stability on uneven ice
Fishing fit
- Water
- Ice
