A spinning reel with full metal gears and phosphating surface for corrosion resistance and smooth operation.
A size 5000 spinning reel with a 5.2:1 gear ratio and a double-bearing build, aimed at both freshwater and saltwater outings. The handle swaps to either side, so lefties and righties can set it up their way. It suits anglers working lakes, rivers and ponds as well as surf and rock spots, and weighs about a quarter of a kilogram.
