Quick take

Five hard metal blade baits with 3D eyes and vibrating action for bass and panfish.

This is a five-piece set of metal VIB blade baits, a compact vibrating lure that you cast and retrieve or work with short lifts. It suits anglers who chase bass, trout, walleye and crappie and want a few sizes of the same style in one box. The bodies are zinc metal and carry treble hooks.

Best for

  • Vertical jigging over deep structure
  • Fast retrieves that create vibration and flash
  • Saltwater flats and nearshore fishing

Skip if

  • You prefer soft plastic baits
  • You fish heavily weeded areas where hard baits snag easily

Strengths

  • VIB design creates rapid vibration that attracts fish through lateral line stimulation
  • 3D eyes give realism that improves hook-up rates
  • Hard metal construction withstands aggressive strikes and repeated casting

Trade-offs

  • Hard metal design offers no give when a fish strikes; can result in broken line
  • Vibrating action requires faster retrieves to work properly

About this type

A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.

Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.

Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
