Quick take
Wood slip bobbers with rotating spring tension in multiple sizes, suitable for suspending bait at various depths.
A pack of 20 wood slip floats in oval and stick shapes, each with a spring that clamps the float to the line. Rotate the spring to reset your depth, or leave it fixed and fish it like a standard float. Fluorescent orange and yellow tops make the float easy to follow at distance, which suits panfish, crappie, trout and walleye anglers fishing a bait at a set depth.
Best for
- Crappie and panfish in shallow water
- Adjustable-depth presentations for trout
- Multi-species float fishing
Skip if
- You need a bobber that does not require adjustment
- You fish dense weeds where wood can snag
Strengths
- Fluorescent tops provide high visibility at distance
- Spring tension allows depth adjustment on the fly
- Slip design works at depths traditional fixed bobbers cannot
Trade-offs

- Spring-tension mechanism adds complexity compared to fixed bobbers
- Multiple sizes require inventory management for different fishing scenarios
