Quick take

A 3/0 yellow offset circle hook for catfish and live-bait rigs that self-hooks on a tight line.

Best for

  • Bottom rigs for catfish
  • Live-bait presentations for bass
  • Float rigs in muddy water

Skip if

  • You need an inline hook for trolling
  • You fish with small baits under 2 inches

Strengths

  • Circle bend hooks in the corner of mouth
  • Offset point reduces gut-hooking
  • Yellow visible in stained water

Trade-offs

  • 100-pack more than most anglers need
  • Offset can occasionally roll on strike
  • Yellow finish less stealthy in clear water
