Quick take
Plastic beads for making and rigging fishing lures, with 3 glow-in-dark options among 10 colors.
This 1,000-piece assortment of plastic beads comes in 10 colors, with some beads that glow in the dark, for threading onto line above a hook or into a homemade rig. Each bead is 5 mm across with a 1.5 mm center hole, and a storage box keeps the set together between trips. It suits night and deep-water anglers who want attractor beads or a do-it-yourself lure project.
Best for
- Carolina rigs and Texas rigs
- Worm rigs where protection is needed
Skip if
- You fish heavy cover; beads get tangled in weeds
Strengths
- 1000-count box offers variety and quantity for rig experimentation
- Hole diameter fits standard monofilament and braided line
- Glow options help at night and in deep water
Trade-offs
- Plastic construction offers less durability than glass or ceramic
- Beads can split under impact on hard casts or strikes
- Mix of colors means less of each shade for matching rigs
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
