Quick take
A 75 in foldable landing net with aluminum frame, built-in boat hook, and choice of mesh materials.
This folding landing net pairs a PVC-covered hoop with a telescoping aluminum handle that stretches to 75 inches for long reach over the gunwale or off a dock. A built-in boat hook switches on with one button, so one tool handles netting a fish and pulling the boat in. The handle collapses to about 33 inches and the hoop folds in half, which suits anglers short on storage space.
Best for
- Boat fishing where reach matters
- Saltwater and freshwater use
- Landing large fish safely
Skip if
- You fish only streams where bank access is easy
- You prefer traditional rigid nets
Strengths
- 75 in extension reaches well from boat or high banks
- Foldable design stores flat in tight spaces
- Built-in boat hook and 220 lb pull-strength add versatility
Trade-offs
- Telescoping handle requires one more step to deploy
- Heavy aluminum frame may be fatiguing on all-day trips
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
