Quick take
A 75 inch extendable aluminum landing net with 19 inch hoop and silicone mesh, rated for up to 44 lb.
This folding landing net pairs an aluminum frame with a soft silicone mesh and a bright orange foam grip that stays easy to hold when wet. The handle extends to about 75 inches for longer reaches from a boat or the bank, and the hoop folds for carrying. The silicone net suits anglers who plan to release what they catch.
Best for
- Bank and pier fishing where long reach helps land fish from depth
- Saltwater fishing where corrosion-resistant aluminum and silicone are essential
- Boat fishing where space is limited and foldable design aids storage
Skip if
- You need a rigid frame landing net for rough handling
Strengths
- Extendable 75 inch handle reaches fish at depth from high vantage points
- Silicone mesh is gentler on fish scales and fins than nylon
- 6063 aluminum alloy is stronger and more corrosion-resistant than standard aluminum
Trade-offs
- Extendable design adds weight and complexity compared to fixed single-piece nets
- Large 19 inch hoop is cumbersome to store and transport
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
