Quick take
Sun-protective fishing gloves with breathable fabric and double-layer palms for grip and durability.
These sun gloves from KastKing cover the hands with UPF 50 fabric and a camo pattern, aimed at anglers, kayakers and paddlers. The back is a stretchy poly-spandex blend, and the palm has a double layer with a PVC face for handling spiny fish and rough lines. Finger pull loops and a hook-and-loop wrist strap make them easy to take on and off and keep them in place.
Best for
- All-day sun exposure on water
- Handling fish with spiny fins or sharp scales
- Saltwater fishing where hand protection matters
Skip if
- You fish overcast conditions with minimal UV exposure
- You want maximum hand mobility and sensitivity
Strengths
- UPF 50 rating provides certified sun protection for extended water time
- Double-layer palm construction improves grip and resists cuts from spines
- Breathable fabric back prevents overheating during active fishing
Trade-offs
- Snug 4-way stretch fit may limit dexterity for fine motor control
- PVC palm adds weight and reduces tactile feel compared to glove-free fishing
- Requires hand washing and air drying to maintain integrity
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
