Quick take
Large waterproof fishing backpack with rod holders and organized pockets for all-day trips.
This is the khaki camouflage colorway of KastKing's 40-liter KarryAll tackle backpack. A foldable padded divider splits the main compartment, and the lower space takes four 3600-size KastKing tackle trays while the upper part holds clothing or snacks. Two exterior rod holders and 14 pockets keep rods, pliers, sunglasses and tools within reach. The body is high-density Oxford 600D fabric with a 210D lining, finished as water resistant with a PVC coating. It is the 40-liter size of the line, the same capacity as the black and green versions.
Best for
- Day trips where you need hands-free access to tackle and rods
- Wading and bank fishing where a backpack works better than a boat bag
- Anglers wanting everything organized and within arm's reach
Skip if
- You fish primarily from a boat with storage compartments
- You prefer lightweight bags for short, minimalist outings
Strengths
- Large 40L capacity holds rods, four tackle boxes, and layered clothing
- Rod holder slots keep two rods accessible and protected
- Waterproof lining and PVC coating keeps gear dry in rain and spray
Trade-offs
- Full capacity is heavy when packed with all gear for the day
- Bulk makes it awkward navigating dense brush or tight spaces
- Shoulder straps can slip if not adjusted properly during extended hikes
