Quick take
Clear PVC wraps with hook-and-loop closure keep lures organized and tangle-free on rods.
This four-pack of medium lure wraps folds around a rigged lure on your rod, covering the hooks so they stay out of clothing, carpet and skin. A clear PVC window lets you see which lure is tied on, and a sewn hook-and-loop strap opens quickly when you are ready to fish. Each folded wrap measures about 5.67 by 3.38 inches, suited to smaller crankbaits, spoons and jigs stored in rod holders or boat lockers.
Best for
- Storing lures on rods in rod holders
- Boat deck and locker storage
- Protecting hooks from snagging
Skip if
- You need to store very large swimbaits
- You prefer traditional tackle box organization
Strengths
- Clear window lets you see which lure is attached to your rod
- Sewn hook-and-loop closure is durable and doesn't fail
- Two sizes fit most lure styles from small to medium
Trade-offs
- The wraps add bulk to rod storage on boats
- Not designed for tackle box storage
- Very large lures may not fit comfortably
