Quick take
Fingerless sun gloves with UPF 50+ and hydrocool to keep hands cool and protected.
A fingerless sun glove for anglers who want UPF 50+ coverage on the backs of the hands and wrists without losing feel for hooks and knots. The microfiber palm gives a grip on the rod, while the open-palm cut and nylon-spandex fabric keep air moving on warm days. An extended cuff and a pairing snap round out the design.
Best for
- Sunny all-day fishing trips
- Handling hooks and bait with bare fingers
- Anglers in hot or tropical climates
Skip if
- You fish cold water; insulated gloves are better
- You need full-finger control; fingerless is limiting
Strengths
- Extended cuff and UPF 50+ shield forearms and hands
- Hydrocool technology activates with water for instant cooling
- Fingerless design lets you tie knots and bait hooks directly
Trade-offs
- Hydrocool effect is temporary; re-wet to reactivate
- Microfiber palm can wear thin if gripping rough rod handles
- Not waterproof; gloves stay wet between re-wetting
