Quick take
A vertical wall rack that stores 15 rods in a compact footprint with polymer V-grooves that grip rod blanks.
This wall-mounted rack holds up to 15 rods or rod-and-reel combos in under 18 inches of wall space, a good fit for a garage with a growing collection. Its V-grooves accept rods up to half an inch across with the reel still on, and a tacky polymer grip holds each one in place. Three screws mount it, with the outer holes spaced 16 inches apart to meet standard studs.
Best for
- Crowded tackle rooms and small garage spaces
- Anglers with large rod collections
- Fresh and saltwater rod storage side by side
Skip if
- You have fewer than 5 rods to store
- You prefer horizontal storage
Strengths
- V-groove design with tacky polymer holds rods securely without mounting each individually
- Stacks 15 rods in less space than horizontal racks require
- Heat and chemical resistant polymers last through temperature swings
Trade-offs
- Requires wall studs or heavy anchors for secure installation
- Rods hang vertically, so reels may need protection from dust
- Larger or heavier combos need care when inserting and removing
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
