Quick take
Self-adhesive measuring tape stickers that stick to boats, kayaks, nets and gaffs for on-the-water fish measurement.
This Kathfly pack has six clear, self-adhesive fish rulers, each 42 inches long and just under an inch wide. They stick to a boat gunwale, kayak deck, net handle or gaff so a catch can be measured on the spot. The numbers are printed for easy reading, and the strips fold up small for storage.
Best for
- Boat and kayak gunwales
- Measuring fish before release
- Mounting on nets or gaffs
Skip if
- You want a rigid measuring board for shore use
- You need to measure fish longer than 42 inches
Strengths
- Waterproof adhesive sticks in wet conditions
- Clear numbers easy to read from any angle
- Foldable design saves space in tackle
Trade-offs
- Requires clean, dry surface for adhesive to bond well
- Stickers eventually peel in heavy saltwater use
- 42 inches limits measurement to smaller fish species
