Quick take
Luminous ice fishing jigs that glow in dark water, useful for low-light conditions and night ice fishing.
These small carbon steel ice jigs come as a 20-piece set of J hooks with spear points, and the heads glow after a few minutes under a light. That makes them a handy pick for dim water and low-light sessions through the ice. The mix of sizes and colors suits panfish like crappie, perch and bluegill, and it also covers trout, walleye and bass.
Best for
- Night ice fishing under lights
- Twilight hours on ice
- Deep water where natural light is limited
Skip if
- You fish only in daylight on ice
- You prefer non-luminous presentations
Strengths
- Luminous coating absorbs light and glows in darkness
- Bright 3D eyes add visual appeal in clear ice water
- Works for panfish, walleye and pike through the ice
Trade-offs
- Glow fades over time and with repeated use
- Requires pre-charging in light before fishing
- Luminous coating may eventually chip or wear
