Quick take

Wall-mounted vertical rack with silicone-coated slots that hold up to nine rods securely.

This wall-mounted rack holds up to nine rods or combos in a slim frame about 17.5 inches long and 2.5 inches tall, so it suits a garage wall or a tight corner. The ABS body has a stainless steel support spindle and blue silicone-coated slots meant to protect rod blanks from scratches. The slots take rod diameters from about 0.08 to 0.8 inches, which covers spinning, casting and fly rods. The rack weighs about 5.6 ounces.

Best for

  • Home garage and workshop organization
  • Anglers with multiple rod and reel combos
  • Boat storage where vertical space is available

Skip if

  • You need horizontal rod storage
  • You want protection from dust and light damage

Strengths

  • Wall-mount design maximizes vertical space in tight areas
  • Silicone coating prevents rod finishes from scratching
  • Stainless spindle resists corrosion in coastal homes

Trade-offs

  • Vertical storage exposes rods to dust and light over long periods
  • Mounting requires wall studs or heavy anchors to support 55 lbs safely
  • Individual rod removal can be awkward if racks are packed tightly
