Quick take
A lightweight chest pack weighing just 7.7 ounces with zippered pockets and adjustable straps for fly-tying gear and fly boxes.
This small polyester chest pack carries a fly box and a few essentials so you can leave the bulky vest or backpack at home. It has a zippered main compartment, a zip-down fly bench with replaceable foam, and loops and tabs outside for attaching accessories. An adjustable neck strap and waist belt let you set the fit, and the whole pack weighs about 220 grams. It suits trout and fly anglers who want gear within reach while their hands stay free for casting.
Best for
- Fly anglers who want hands-free storage for flies and tools
- Stream fishing where a pack doesn't sink in water crossings
- Anglers who dislike wearing heavy vests
Skip if
- You need capacity for full-day wading apparel
- You prefer traditional fly vests over chest packs
Strengths
