Quick take
Large 12/0 bronze treble hooks for big plugs, spoons and saltwater lures.
This is a five-pack of bronze-finish treble hooks in size 12/0, with a spear point and a wide gap. They are meant as replacement hooks for plugs, spoons and spinners, and the large size suits bigger lures aimed at bass and other sizable fish. Each hook measures about 3.6 inches tall and 2.6 inches wide.
Best for
- Replacing worn hooks on large crankbaits and plugs
- Saltwater applications where trebles are standard
- Targeting pike and large stripers on topwater
Skip if
- You fish small streams or require smaller hook sizes
- You release most fish and want less deeply-set hooks
Strengths
- Massive 12/0 size holds up to heavy line and big fish
- Wide gap treble opens fast for solid hook sets
- Bronze finish resists rust in saltwater use
Trade-offs
- Treble hooks foul more easily in weeds and wood
- Large hooks slow the natural swim of smaller lures
- Bronze finish still oxidizes over time in saltwater
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
