Quick take
A 100-pack of octopus offset hooks in assorted sizes for rigging live baits, squid, and crawfish in saltwater and freshwater fishing.
This 100-piece pack of 2/0 offset circle hooks is made from high carbon steel, with a turned-up eye and a beak-style point. The offset point helps hold bait such as squid, crab or worms on the hook, which suits anglers rigging for mackerel or catfish.
Best for
- Bottom fishing with live or fresh bait
- Crab and shrimp presentations
- Saltwater fishing for grouper and snapper
Skip if
- You fish topwater or need light-wire hooks
- You prefer circle hooks for catch-and-release
Strengths
- Strong forged wire handles fighting fish without bending
- Offset beak design turns the point inward for hookups
- Assorted sizes cover small panfish to large saltwater species
Trade-offs
- Offset point may slip free more easily than straight hooks
- Black nickel finish can rust in extreme saltwater use
- Heavy carbon steel wire may be overkill for small freshwater fish

- Saltwater
