Quick take
A collapsible landing net with a triangular hoop and deeper bag for holding larger fish.
Best for
- Bank fishing where you need quick hand placement
- Saltwater species like catfish and stripers
- Fish that need a deeper bag to prevent escape
Skip if
- You fish tight cover where a fixed handle snags often
- You need a ultralight net for hiking to remote water
Strengths
- Triangular hoop focuses the net opening for efficient capture
- 13.8 inch depth holds larger fish than round nets of the same size
- Rubber mesh is non-absorbent and does not chafe fish
Trade-offs
- Fixed handle does not collapse for travel as compactly as telescopic nets
- Triangular frame is less common and harder to replace if damaged
- 5 mm mesh can still catch treble hooks without care during netting

- Freshwater
- Saltwater
