Best for
- Boat and bank fishing where fish need to stay fresh
- Anglers catching multiple fish for dinner
- Saltwater and freshwater fishing alike
Skip if
- You practice catch-and-release only
- You need a stringer that floats
Strengths
- Heavy duty poly cord resists rot and fraying
- Nine-foot length holds multiple fish
- Durable enough for both freshwater and saltwater
Trade-offs
- Long cord can tangle during casting and retrieval
- Poly cord absorbs water and becomes heavy when wet
- Does not float, so risks sinking if cast overboard
