Quick take
Real shad gel with amino acids and UV enhancers that clings to lures and creates a scent cloud for predators.
Liquid Mayhem's shad attractant gel is a 2-ounce tube of bait scent for anglers who want a baitfish smell on their lures. It is made to cling to soft plastics, jigs, crankbaits and spoons, and the shad color suits bass fishing in clear or stained water. Built-in UV enhancers add to the scent trail for anglers fishing deep or low-light spots.
Best for
- Enhancing soft plastics and jigs
- Deep or stained water where scent dispersal matters
- High-pressure fishing situations
Skip if
- You fish clear shallow water primarily
- You use live or fresh-cut bait
Strengths
- Real shad scent triggers feeding response stronger than plastic alone
- Amino acid and enzyme blend heightens strike frequency
- UV enhancers work in low-light, stained, and deep water
Trade-offs
- Gel can dry quickly under intense sun; needs reapplication
- Sticky formula gets hands messy; requires rinsing
- Extra-sticky formula clogs pores and line over time
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
