Quick take
A compact waterproof bite alarm with adjustable tone, volume, and sensitivity for day and night fishing.
The Lixada bite alarm is a small battery-powered indicator that signals a bite with sound and an LED, so you can watch a rod without staring at the tip. It has adjustable tone, volume and sensitivity, plus a 2.5mm jack socket for external accessories. At about 2 by 1.6 by 3.5 inches, it is compact enough to tuck into a tackle box, which suits carp setups and day or night sessions on the bank.
Best for
- Carp and catfish fishing where rest periods are long
- Night fishing where visual and audio alerts are essential
- Anglers fishing multiple rods who cannot watch each line
Skip if
- You fish active presentations where bites are constant
- You have hearing or vision issues with limited accommodation
Strengths
- Adjustable sensitivity distinguishes types of bites or missed strikes
- Portable and fits any tackle box or backpack
- LED and audio alerts work in daylight and darkness
Trade-offs
- Battery drain on extended trips; bring spares
- Threshold between false alarms and missed bites takes tuning
- Waterproof rating does not mean it survives full submersion
