Quick take
A compact Japanese metal jig with holographic finish, sized for offshore vertical jigging in current and deep water.
Best for
- Offshore bottom structure jigging for tuna and yellowtail
- Light jigging in current where weight and speed matter
- Anglers experienced with vertical jigging techniques
Skip if
- You fish freshwater; these are saltwater offshore lures
- You need slow-sinking profiles; metal jigs drop fast
Strengths
- Japanese design and hook quality reflect offshore tournament development
- Multiple weight options (20-60 g) suit different depths and current speeds
- Holographic finish reflects light in deep water where natural colors disappear
Trade-offs
- 40-60 g weights are heavy; they require heavier tackle and tire arms
- Vertical jigs must be actively jigged; they don't cast well or swim passively
- Offshore jigging skills are required; vertical work looks easy but technique matters

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
