Quick take
A 50-gram tungsten micro jig that is 1.74 times denser than lead, allowing compact profiles for deep water.
Best for
- Deep offshore jigging where a compact profile attracts finicky fish
- Jigging when baitfish are micro-sized
- Saltwater jigging where long cast distance and accuracy matter
Skip if
- You want large visible jigs; tungsten micro profile is intentionally small
- You fish shallow water; deep drop jigging is the main application
Strengths
- Tungsten density of 1.74x lead means smaller lure for same weight
- Compact micro profile still casts farther and more accurately than lead equivalents
- Small size attracts finicky species that ignore larger lures
Trade-offs
- Compact size means limited visibility; best in clear water
- 50 grams is at the middle of the product line; extreme weights require other models

About this type
A lure is an artificial bait that draws a strike with its shape, color and movement.
Each kind is built for certain depths and ways of fishing.
Weight decides how far a lure casts and what rod and line it needs; color changes how visible it is in the water.
