Quick take
A large arbor fly reel with CNC-machined aluminum body and hybrid drag system, designed for trout to saltwater fly fishing.
This is the 3/5 weight size of the Maxcatch AVID PRO, a gold fly reel with a CNC-machined aluminum body and a large arbor spool. Its drag combines cork and Teflon with stainless discs behind a one-way clutch bearing, and the reel is ambidextrous so you can set it up for either hand. At about 7.8 ounces, it suits light trout and panfish fly outfits.
