Quick take
Lightweight carbon fiber fly rod case that protects 4-piece fly rods during travel and storage.
This carbon fiber travel tube carries a four-piece 9 ft fly rod, with an aluminum cap and a 30.3 inch body about 2 inches across. It weighs 11.3 oz, so it adds little to a travel bag or a boat trip. Fly anglers who break a rod down to move it will find a rigid case that keeps the sections together.
Best for
- Traveling with fly rods on planes or in vehicles
- Storing rods in compact spaces
Skip if
- You store rods at home only
- You prefer rod socks for local trips
Strengths
