Quick take
Hands-free automatic fishing reel for ice fishing and drop-line tactics.
This is a compact automatic reel with a flat trigger and a tempered steel spring that sets the hook the moment a fish takes the bait. It comes spooled with 9 feet of 60 pound braided nylon and weighs about 0.11 pounds, so it is easy to hang from a limb, a dock or the side of a boat. Anglers use this style of drop-line reel for crappie and catfish, and it also works through the ice.
