Quick take
A set of twelve hand-operated yo-yo reels with sensitive flat trigger and pre-spooled nylon line for bank fishing.
This is a mechanical YoYo-style automatic reel with a flat trigger, a metal frame and an adjustable spring tension. It comes pre-spooled with a short length of 60 lb nylon line and suits ambidextrous use. It is a simple, hands-on way to set a line and let the spring do the work when a fish takes the bait.
Best for
- Hand-line fishing from shore or bridges
- Setting and checking multiple lines
- Catfish and panfish night fishing
Skip if
- You need a reel for active casting
- You prefer rod-and-reel setups
Strengths
- Flat trigger is more sensitive than wire trigger design
- Stainless steel components resist corrosion
- Pre-spooled and ready to fish out of box
Trade-offs
- Mechanical design requires manual setting
- Shallow spool limits line capacity
- Best for waiting-style rather than active fishing
