Quick take
A rod stand sized to fit Meiho tackle boxes, holding rods upright on a desk or shelf.
The Meiho BM-250 Light is a compact polycarbonate rod stand in clear blue and black that stands on its own. Its 35 mm opening takes a rod and reel, and the rubber-coated top cushions the gear. It also fits several Meiho and Versus tackle boxes, which makes it handy for holding a rod while you rig up or change lures.
Best for
- Organizing rods at home or in a workshop
- Displaying rods on tackle box storage
- Keeping rods accessible during setup
Skip if
- You fish from a boat with limited vertical space
- You need to store rods in protective cases
Strengths
- Clear plastic design shows stored rods at a glance
- Hole diameter fits standard Meiho tackle box systems
- Lightweight and portable for travel
Trade-offs
- Holds only one rod at a time
- Requires flat surface for stability
- Not waterproof for wet environments
