Quick take
A compact reversible box with six compartments, sized for trout minnows, small jigs, and light terminal tackle.
The Meiho Reversible D-86 is a compact polypropylene tackle case that opens from both faces, so small lures and jigs stay organized in a pocket-sized footprint. Its deeper compartments suit minnow-style baits for trout and other light-game fishing. Drainage holes let you rinse it out and dry it after wet days.
Best for
- Trout anglers who fish small minnows and nymphs
- Organizing hand-tied flies and small spinners
- Keeping a dedicated box for a single type of gear
Skip if
- You need large compartments for crankbaits or spinnerbaits
- You need a waterproof box
Strengths
- Reversible sides double usable compartments on a small footprint
- Polypropylene is durable and can be rinsed after saltwater use
- Deep compartments protect tall lures from falling
Trade-offs
- Not water resistant, so it cannot be submerged or left open in rain
- Six fixed compartments limit flexibility in organization
- Best for small specialty tackle, not general-purpose storage
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
