Quick take

A deep-design tackle box with clear polypropylene construction and four adjustable dividers for versatile storage.

This clear polypropylene case from Meiho's Versus line is the deep type, made for bulky baits that would not fit a shallow tray. Four movable dividers let you size the compartments to your lures, and the one-touch clasp keeps the lid shut. At about 10 by 7.5 inches it fits a tackle bag or boat storage compartment.

Best for

  • Organizing live bait and large lures
  • Matching the Japanese efficiency standard
  • Multiple fishing styles and techniques

Skip if

  • You need shallow compartments for flies
  • You prefer soft-sided bags

Strengths

  • Deep profile fits large live bait and lures
  • Variable dividers adapt to different tackle types
  • One-touch clasp speeds packing and access

Trade-offs

  • Clear plastic can cloud or scratch with use
  • Fixed size limits expansion of tackle collection
  • Not waterproof or weatherproof
