Quick take
Clear PVC wraps with velcro closure for organizing and protecting lures and hooks on rods.
A two-pack of clear PVC lure wraps that fold around a rod to cover rigged hooks. Each wrap measures 7.8 by 4.3 inches and closes with a hook-and-loop strap, so it opens and shuts quickly at the water. They suit anglers who carry rigged rods on a boat deck, in rod holders or in a truck and want hooks kept away from gear, clothing and skin.
Best for
- Keeping lures organized during boat trips
- Protecting hooks from tangling in cargo, clothing and skin
- Storing crankbaits, swimbaits and jerkbaits in tackle systems
Skip if
- You prefer foam lure holders that keep baits organized by type
- You have limited rod deck space
Strengths
- Transparent PVC lets you see lures without opening the wrap
- Stab-proof material protects against hook puncture accidents
- Velcro allows quick access during active fishing
Trade-offs
- PVC material takes up more space than thin foam alternatives
- Wide velcro may eventually wear out with frequent opening
- Not a complete tackle storage solution; requires rods to hang on
