Quick take
Fine-wire size 4 Aberdeen hooks in a 100-pack, trusted by anglers for live bait fishing.
Best for
- Live minnow fishing on small to medium streams
- Panfish and small trout under light line
- Anglers who prefer hook packs over assortments
Skip if
- You fish heavy cover or large fish
- You need a stronger hook than fine wire provides
Strengths
- Fine wire reduces damage to live bait during rigging
- Blued finish conceals the hook in clear water
- Mustad's tempering keeps hook points needle-sharp
Trade-offs
- Fine wire bends on strong fish without drag adjustment
- Size 4 is very small and hard to tie on small line
- Blued finish rusts if not dried after saltwater

- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
- Techniques
- Live bait
