Quick take

Large circle hooks with 3X strong wire and ultra-sharp points designed for saltwater jigging, trolling and bottom fishing.

The Mustad Demon Perfect 39950NP in 7/0 is an inline circle hook built for large saltwater and freshwater species such as tuna, sharks and wahoo. Its 3X strong wire and 2X short shank keep the hook compact and sturdy, and the curved shape tends to lodge in the corner of the mouth, which suits catch-and-release anglers. Each pack of 25 comes in a black nickel finish with an Opti-Angle needle point.

Best for

Saltwater bottom fishing for snapper, grouper and halibut
Live bait rigs for large striped bass and offshore species
Anglers practicing catch-and-release who want reduced deep-hooking

Skip if

You fish small freshwater species or use small baits
You prefer J-hooks or offset hooks for specific techniques

Strengths

3X strong wire resists straightening on large fish
Circle shape tends to hook in the corner of the mouth
