Quick take
Brass barrel swivels sized 12# for reducing line twist in freshwater and saltwater rigs.
A pack of 50 size 12 barrel swivels from Natufish, built from brass with two solid rings and a barrel body. The rolling design turns freely to keep twist out of the line. It suits Carolina and Texas rigs, bottom fishing and trolling in fresh or salt water. The small size fits light rigs where a compact connector matters.
Best for
- Preventing line twist on spinning and baitcasting rigs
- Attaching leaders or secondary line
- Trolling and multi-lure applications
Skip if
- You fish ultralight rigs where small swivels are needed
- You want ball-bearing swivels for extreme torque applications
Strengths
- Brass resists corrosion in saltwater and hard freshwater
- 360-degree rotation reduces line twist and tangles
- Elliptical chamfered design improves water entry and rig sensitivity
Trade-offs
- Size 12# is not suitable for small ultralight presentations
- Non-bearing swivel may stick slightly under heavy pressure
- Elliptical design takes practice to orient correctly
Fishing fit
- Water
- Freshwater
- Saltwater
